Cape Coral Civic Association Press Release

The next General Meeting of the Cape Coral Civic Association will be held on Tuesday January 23, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. at the Cape Coral Yacht Club. Cape Coral Mayor Eric Feichthaler will be the keynote speaker for the evening and will do the swearing in honors of newly elected Civic President Shawn Seliger and 2007-2008 Board of Directors.

The CC Civic Association was established in March 1962 and has announced that plans are currently underway for the 45^th Civic Anniversary Party and Dinner to be held on Saturday March 31, 2007 from 6-10 p.m. at the Cape Coral Italian American Club. Civic is seeking sponsors to help defray cost for this event so that ticket cost can be held to a minimum. The Cape Coral Civic Association was the engine behind the incorporation of the City of Cape Coral in 1970.
