At Civic April 24 Meeting

Lee County Commissioner Ray Judah will be the keynote speaker at Civic this month. The focus for this month's meeting will be the issues with Lake Okeechobee and the negative affects that it has on the Caloosahatchee River. Since much of the eastern boundary of the City of Cape Coral bordered by the Caloosahatchee River one of the key environmental issues we have is the heath of our canals that are impacted by the health of the river which as we know is impacted by the health of Lake Okeechobee and the water quality of the fresh water releases into the river.

Join us at Civic this month, Tuesday April 24, 7-9 PM at the Cape Coral Yacht Club, for an in-depth discussion of the issues and the legislative measures that are intended to finally provide solutions to this ongoing problem.

Civic meetings are provided as a public service to our members and are open to the general public. Refreshments will be served following the meeting.
