It appears that Council member Day is upset that Public Information Director Connie Barron is raking in $81,000 a year. What is sooooo amusing about this story is Timmy admitted that "someone told him" how much she is making. Hey Tim, you've been on council for four+ years and someone had to tell you what Connie is making. It's so nice to see that Tim Day is on top of things.

The Civic Association was formed in 1962 predating the City of Cape Coral. Civic was instrumental in the city's incorporation in 1970 and continues to be involved in community issues on behalf of the residents. This site allows you to share your thoughts on issues. The CCCA meets on the 4th Tuesady of the month at the CC Yacht Club pavilion, main ballrom fom 7-9 p.m. Civic meetings are open to the public. Be Aware, Alert and Informed!

Tim Day is a windbag full of "what nots"
Why did it take so long for the council to discover this? Every year there is a new budget voted on, and in that budget are pay raises plus bonuses. We now have department heads being paid twice, double the salaries that the private sector is receiving. I said many times that we start people to high and leave no room for increase unless we reclassify and now we are top heavy and the human resouce director only know how to increase based on his experience of CEO pay.
